my brain just threw up a little…

December 8, 2017

From an earlier conversation with a friend

Friend: “i’m going to try to figure out how to log that last call, it was complicated and too much thing in it.”

Me: Start with “His deep raspy voice had a calm of of italian leather with a hint of sandalwood and a calm confidence of consonants in the word guillotine. My breath shorted out the phoneline. It was 10 AM…”

“It’s not that you talk too much, it’s that you are so… so wordy!”
“Oh… I feel right dispensing eloquence where due. Do find it in your heart to forgive me for not sounding like a meth commercial.”

bad review

Best worst review for this one short story I’ve read a bit ago:

“You can’t have any pudding if you don’t eat your meat!”

(not every story I read is awesome, good, great, wonderful, amazing, spectacular… so on. Some need to be terrible tripe that would make anyone’s brain cringe. That story was one of them.)

(no, I am not going to tell you who has written it because it is what you would call a fluke.)
(fuck off)

“Cletus is a very silly name. I can’t quite put my finger on it, but it feels worth the explanation.”

Adorbables(™) is the new word of the day.

For tonight I will make some potatoes.
Potatoas? Why didn’t they name them “potatoas”?
It sound less covered in mud and more eloquent.
Imagine a hipster veg – potatoa.

9:58 Me:    what’s this English word that describes a rather painful nuisance that you could do without. like getting poked in the eye with a thumb that is growing out of the middle of your own forehead.

9:58 Friend:    erm… not sure we have a word for that.

9:59 Me:    make one up

9:59 Me:    Good! that will work!

9:59 Friend:    folkenfarl

9:59 Me:    excellent

9:59 Friend:    your shoulder is being folkenfarl

9:59 Me:    just a moment for the immortalization process

10:00 Friend:    oh dear
